ChampDx's autostainer combines intuitive user interface, fully automated hardware and an open philosophy for maximum flexibility. Capable of automating IHC, DNA/RNA ISH and special stains the autostainer is designed to support the transition from to fully automated protocols regardless of complexity. 

ChampDx offers a full array of ready-to-use IHC and RNA ISH assays optimized for staining veterinary and research animal tissue and ChampDx's open philosophy enables users to use any reagent or protocol they see fit. 

Traditionally autostianers are either closed, semi-open or open. Semi-open systems only allow third party integration for some of the reagents and/or limit the steps and variables that can be optimized. Completely open systems, while they can be heavily customized, come with the caveat that they are limited to only IHC and use large amounts of reagents making third party consumables cost prohibitive. 

ChampDx's stainer is neither with a true open philosophy. From dewaxing to chromogen virtually any point within a staining protocol can be integrated with a third-party reagent or modified when using ChampDx's open containers.

Innovative Heating and Mixing Chambers = Superior Staining and Flexibility

At the core of ChampDx's autostainer is the innovative slide chambers which consists of a heated platform and a reagent containment chamber that minimizes reagent usage, evaporation and waste. The patented slide container also allows for the active mixing and heating of reagents resulting in several key benefits:
