ArkDetect™ A Universal Detection System for Animal Tissue
ChampDx's ArkDetect™ is a proprietary immunohistochemistry (IHC) detection system designed for staining all animal tissues for veterinary and research applications eliminating the need to have multiple detection kits for different types of tissues.
While polymer-based detection systems have had success with staining human tissues they can be problematic for animal tissue due to non-specific staining. Attempts with shortening the length of polymers as in the case of micro-polymers have had some success but still suffer from background-staining inherent to polymers. ArkDetect™ utilizes a proprietary non-polymer chemistry resulting in superior sensitivity with virtually no background on animal tissues.
From retrieval to chromogen staining only takes 2.2 hrs using ArkDetect™ and eliminates the need for using species-on-species blocking reagents.
